Update 8/24/2016: I am moving to Michigan Tech as a research assistant professor soon. I am so excited about it! My experience at Vanderbilt has been wonderful. I love Vanderbilt more than I can say. Once my new website is prepared, I will provide the link here.

I work in the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Lab at Vanderbilt University. My dissertation research mainly focuses on human-machine interaction, especially for children with Autism. This research is composed of robotics, system design, computer vision, affective computing, psychology, and cognitive science. In addition, I also conduct research on pattern recognition, machine learning, and data mining.

Beyond my dissertation research, I am also interested in the engineering education research. I am a 2015-2016 BOLD fellow of Vanderbilt University.

I am an active middle-distance runner and an amateur dancer, too!
