Romario’s paper on cooling-triggered reactions is published!
Romario demonstrated that thermoresponsive hydrogels can be used to enable cooling-triggered reactions. Typically one thinks of adding heat to a set of reagents to initiate a reaction; in this approach, one has to cool the system down to start the reaction. The approach can be generalized to various reaction types and the triggering temperature can be tuned. Check it out: https://doi.org/10.1039/D2RA02938C
