Welcome to Kai Ni’s website. I am a Ph.D. candidate in EECS department at Vanderbilt University. I work with Professor Ronald Schrimpf and Professor Daniel Fleetwood during my Ph.D. study. Currently I am actively looking for a postdoc position in solid state physics and devices.

My Ph.D. research focuses on radiation effects and reliability of emerging III-V MOSFETs for logic applications. I also work on solid state memories, such as fabrication and characterization of ZnO nanowire RRAM as well as characterization and modeling of SONOS device. Besides, I am also interested in analog/RF/microwave IC design. I designed an embedded IC for measuring radiation dose in space for my M.S. thesis. I also designed RF filters, power amplifiers, and antennas for my B.S. thesis.
