Prospective Students and Postdocs

Positions available for undergraduate and graduate students

If you are a graduate or undergraduate student interested in exploring biophysical or cell biological aspects of membrane organization or in autophagy, this is the right place for you. We would love enthusiastic graduate students interested in interdisciplinary research to join our group. Intrigued by the research and interested in knowing more ? Stop by our lab for a chat. If you would like to do a rotation project, send an email to Anne. Check our contact page for more info.

Postdoctoral positions available to study the role of membrane nanodomains in health and disease

Openings are currently available for postdoctoral fellows to participate in NIH-funded studies of i) the roles of cholesterol and membrane nanodomains in the amyloidogenic pathway of Alzheimer’s disease and ii) mechanisms of toxin-induced nanodomain assembly and endocytosis. Candidates should be highly motivated, have a good publication record and an interest in working in a collaborative environment alongside cell biologist, biophysicists, and structural biologists. Experience in membrane biophysics, membrane trafficking, and/or quantitative fluorescence microscopy is a plus. Vanderbilt University School of Medicine is ranked in the top 15 medical schools for research in the US and is located in thriving Nashville, Tennessee.

Candidates should send their CV, including contact information for three references to:
