Code of Conduct

Harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment, discrimination, or sexual assault, will not be tolerated. Vanderbilt has resources where victims can seek help and anyone who observes questionable or concerning activity can seek advice or make a report. Vanderbilt’s compliance system consists of a hotline (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year), an online reporting website portal, and an office of compliance. All participants will be made of these resources and information before the conference on the conference website as well as during the conference at the registration table with printed out guides. All participants will be urged in opening remarks at the conference to utilize these resources if they observe anything suspicious, and the conference organizers will contact Vanderbilt’s office, as well as the local and/or Vanderbilt police if any illegal behavior is discovered or suspected, such as sexual assault or abuse.
