Things to Remember

Please try to answer the following practice problems without using the interactive diagram.  Keep the following things in mind:

What is the local time?

What is the butterfly time?

Does the direction of butterfly relocation (i.e. east or west) constitute an advance or delay?

Remember for every hour that the butterfly time differs from the local time, the direction changes by 15^o (counterclockwise for an advance and clockwise for a delay).
