NCPI Affiliates Study Value-Added Models of Teacher Effectiveness
NCPI affiliates have published several articles in the Fall 2009 issue of Education Finance and Policy examining value-added models of teacher effectiveness and value-added estimation. Affiliates published in this issue include Dale Ballou, JR Lockwood, and Daniel McCaffrey, authors or co-authors of the following articles:
- “Test Scaling and Value-Added Measurement” by Ballou.
- “Exploring Student-Teacher Interactions in Longitudinal Achievement Data” by Lockwood and McCaffrey.
- “The Intertemporal Variability of Teacher Effect Estimates” by McCaffrey, Sass, Lockwood, and Mihaly.
