Professor James W. Guthrie, executive director of NCPI, will become the first Senior Fellow of the George W. Bush Institute, a think-tank within the George W. Bush Presidential Center at Southern Methodist University. Simultaneously, Professor Guthrie has accepted an appointment as full professor at SMU’s Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education and Human Development. Both appointments are effective January 1, 2010.
