What to do before the conference:

For this year’s virtual SLRF, all poster submissions will be uploaded to the SLRF page on Figshare, an online academic repository. By the end of Monday, October 5th, please send us (to slrf2020.vanderbilt@gmail.com) a PDF file of the accepted poster. Once it is received, you will receive a confirmation message within 3 business days that your file has been uploaded to the 2020 SLRF Figshare collection

You may also send an optional audio/video walkthrough of your poster presentation (no longer than 10 minutes), which will act as a guided presentation for attendees while previewing the poster. Poster materials will be browsable for registered attendees in the SLRF 2020 Figshare collection.

When sending us the file(s), please use the following naming conventions when you send your files:

Poster PDF: List by last names and first name initials and use commas to separate author names, followed by the full title of your poster:

Nguyen, T., Carnevale, J. J., Scholer, A. A., Miele, D. B., & Fujita, K. (2019). Metamotivational knowledge of the role of high-level and low-level construal in goal-relevant task performance.

Poster Walkthrough (optional): If uploading audio/video walkthrough of your presentation, please include [Recording] before the citation used for poster PDF submission.

What to expect during the conference:

To honor the interactive nature of SLRF, we will be hosting 1-hour live poster sessions during the conference. By topic and keywords, posters will be organized into groups of 5 to 8 per session. Conference attendees (who will have been encouraged to view your poster and associated audio/visual presentation prior to the live Q&A session) will have the option of entering a Zoom breakout room specifically pre-assigned to your poster to discuss your work with you (and any co-authors) during this period of time. Like an in-person conference, you will be able to engage with anyone who “stops by” your poster.
