Who We Are

Vanderbilt Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (SCNO) is a student run organization committed to providing high-quality and professional pro-bono consulting services for nonprofit organizations and social enterprises in the Nashville community. Through year-long engagements, our SCNO teams collaborate with nonprofits to achieve the necessary goals of our clients.

DIVERSE TALENT

Vanderbilt SCNO coordinates Student Consultants from all years and all academic disciplines, ranging from Economics to English, from Engineering to the Life Sciences.

Multidisciplinary teams enhance the breadth and depth of our project engagements, leading to creative, implementable solutions.

LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS

We understand that not every problem can be solved in two semesters, which is why our consultants often go above and beyond, following up with clients over the summer and recommending follow-up projects to assist in implementation.

EXTENSIVE RESOURCES

We utilize our professional partnerships, a successful alumni network, past cases, and other resources from the Owen Graduate School of Management to deliver results.

We approach each engagement differently, identifying problems and developing solutions in various lenses through evidence-based approaches.

PRO-BONO WORK

SCNO does not charge your non-profit or social enterprise any fees.

Our hope is that SCNO can facilitate a mutually beneficial relationship in which our talented teams can collaborate with nonprofits while gaining exposure to nonprofit & management consulting.
