Josh Caldwell named director of Interdisciplinary Materials Science
We are pleased to announce that Professor Josh Caldwell has agreed to serve as the new Director of the Interdisciplinary Materials Science graduate program starting July 1, 2021, for a three year term. Prof. Caldwell will concurrently serve as the program’s Director of Graduate Studies (DGS). The IMS graduate program is poised to grow during the next few years and to become a more important part of both the College of Arts & Science and the School of Engineering.
Prof. Caldwell takes over from Prof. Greg Walker, who served as the IMS DGS for 4 years (# + 1 year during COVID-19). Prof. Tim Hanusa of Chemistry will continue to serve as Associate Director for the upcoming school year!
