“Optical Momentum Alignment Effect in WSe2 Phototransistor” published in Advanced Optical Materials has been selected as a VINSE spotlight publication.
About the author: Yuchen Zhang earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in June 2021 under the direction of Dr. Yaqiong Xu. Yuchen studied two-dimensional optoelectronics with advanced functionalities. In recently published work, he systematically studied anisotropic photoresponse of tungsten diselenide phototransistor via scanning photocurrent microscopy and discovered optical momentum alignment effect. Furthermore, the photoresponse peak can be adjusted via electric field and temperatures, which indicates the great potential for engineering future anisotropic optoelectronics. Yuchen is now a software engineer at Amazon.
