Launch of VINSE NanoGuides Program
VINSE’s mission is to drive innovation in nanoscience, nanotechnology, and education that benefits society, and we take the immersive education and outreach component of our mission very seriously. Over the past 15 years, VINSE has positively impacted more than 45,000 students from 28 counties in Tennessee with their nanoscience outreach activities.
This fall, VINSE is launching a new initiative, called the VINSE NanoGuides. This program will formalize the group of student volunteers that lead many of VINSE’s STEM outreach activities and who will now receive formal recognition for their passion for science outreach.
NanoGuides will receive several incentives including:
- Recognition on the VINSE website
- Free training opportunities in VINSE core facilities
- Opportunities to earn VINSE swag including a branded NanoGuides tshirt, VINSE North Face backpack, 3D printed VINSE collectables and more
As part of the NanoGuides launch, we have a logo design competition. This comes with cash prize of $300, the deadline is December 10, 2023. Click here for more details about this competition.
