Spotlight Podcast Episode 27: Isom Kelly – porous silicon nanoparticles – tiny chunks of silicon that can be used as drug delivery vehicles
Episode 27 of the VINSE Spotlight Podcast Isom Kelly tells Alice Leach about porous silicon nanoparticles – tiny chunks of silicon that can be used as drug delivery vehicles. Isom’s paper “Tuning Composition of Polymer and Porous Silicon Composite Nanoparticles for Early Endosome Escape of Anti-microRNA Peptide Nucleic Acids” was published in ACS Applied Materials and Interface. Isom is a 5th year biomedical engineering graduate student in the lab of Craig Duvall.
