This week in episode 6 of the VINSE Spotlight Podcast Alice Leach talks with Nathan Spear about exotic optical properties. Nathan’s paper “Enhanced Broadband and Harmonic Upconversion from Coupled Semiconductor and Metal Nanoparticle Films” was published in ACS Applied Nano Materials.  Nathan is a 3^rd year Ph.D. student in Interdisciplinary Materials Science working under the direction of Professors Janet Macdonald and Richard Haglund
