POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW IN HUMAN NEUROIMAGING

A post-doctoral fellowship position is available in the Department of Radiology, Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The project involves Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) network mapping and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) investigations of patients with epilepsy and healthy control subjects in order to better understand and predict surgical treatment outcomes in this cohort. The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop self-directed research in collaboration with members of the Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science (VUIIS), Departments of Neurology, Neurological Surgery and Engineering.
Requirements: This position requires a Ph.D. in engineering, neuroscience, or a related field, with proficiency in MATLAB and/or computer programming. Prior experience in imaging is preferred. Both pending Ph.D. graduates and individuals who have completed previous post‐doc training will be considered. Applicants must be reliable, honest, hardworking, independent, and possess excellent communication skills. A minimum time commitment of one year is expected, with the potential opportunity for renewal. Salary will be commensurate with University guidelines, and benefits will be provided.
