Professor Kristin Michelitch (Political Science) was named Andrew Carnegie Fellow (award and prize of $200,000) for 2017/2018 and 2018/2019. 

Professors Kristin Michelitch and Keith Weghorst (Political Science) were jointly awarded a $500k grant for a collaboration with USAID on media strengthening research (policy randomized controlled trial) in Tanzania.
