In an effort to stay aligned with the spirit of the program, CDA graduates from the class of 2014 recently implemented monthly neighborhood-rotating alumni happy hours. As summer came to an end, The Local Taco in Sylvan Park provided the perfect atmosphere with dollar-off margaritas and sun-soaked picnic benches for the first alumni happy hour. Round two ensued at the beginning of October with a crisp fall breeze on the upstairs patio of Soulshine Pizza Factory in Midtown. Professors, directors, alumni, and alumni families attended both events. A glorious time was had by all – quite communal, one might say. The third happy hour (pictured here) was in early November in East Nashville. Further details for future happy hours will go out via evite listserv. All CDA alumni, faculty, and their guests (furry or otherwise) are always welcome to attend.
