USAC Newsletter for July 2017
Jul. 28, 2017—As the University is preparing for another academic year, USAC kicked off the 2017/2018 term earlier this month where we welcomed both new and returning representatives from over 20 different schools and departments across Vanderbilt.
USAC Begins a New Term
Jul. 14, 2017—Leading the council for the next year will be Michael Pring — a Lieutenant within the Vanderbilt University Police Department — who has served on the council as a representative for the past 8 years.
Vandy Chills Scheduled for August 10th
Jul. 6, 2017—As part of its ongoing Employee Appreciation campaign, Vanderbilt will give staff a chance to cool off with a frozen treat on August 10th. There will be a wide variety of options this year including dairy-free, gluten-free and no-sugar-added.
Campus Dining Offers Discount to Staff
May. 24, 2017—Vanderbilt Campus Dining is once again offering a limited time discount on faculty and staff meal plans
Chancellor Zeppos Addresses USAC
Mar. 15, 2017—Chancellor Nicholas Zeppos made his annual address to USAC at its March 2017 meeting and discussed several topics of concern to himself and to USAC representatives.
Elf Program a Success
Jan. 19, 2017—Over $8,000 collected from University and Medical Center staff made it possible to assist over 30 Vanderbilt families with their holiday plans.
USAC to Host Campus-Wide Blood Drive February 9
Jan. 19, 2017—The University Staff Advisory Council will team with the American Red Cross to sponsor a blood drive on Thursday, February 9.
