Customers facing issues with Lync clients

Vanderbilt IT would like to bring the following to the community’s attention regarding issues with Lync. Customers have reported problems when joining meetings and expanding Lync distribution groups. VUIT has corrected an issue with a certificate chain and has removed two Lync servers that appeared to be the cause. This has mitigated most customer-reported difficulties. In an effort to permanently resolve this, VUIT continues to troubleshoot additional data points with Microsoft.
