Increase resources on Print Server PRT2 and upgrade Networker to latest version 8.2
Beginning Sunday, July 17, at 9 p.m., Vanderbilt IT will implement a change to increase print queues and resources in order to handle a greater work load and to resolve performance issues with the print server. The process will take approximately 90 minutes. Following this change, VUIT will upgrade the server backup agent from version 7.6.3 to version 8.2. A restart will be required to complete configuration tasks.
Print server printers will be offline while resources are being increased. Print jobs sent to the offline printers will be stored locally and will resume printing after the server comes back online.
