Posted by on Thursday, November 10, 2016 in News.

The date to replace legacy routers has changed from this Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 to Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 beginning at 5:00 a.m., with completion expected around 11:00 a.m. VUMC IT will migrate remaining components from legacy Cisco routers to new Cisco Nexus routers. There will be a rolling outage for every network within the Vanderbilt University Hospital Data Center (VUHDC.) The outages should last no longer than five minutes per network and continue until all networks have been migrated.

A list of systems that will be affected, along with other information and outage times can be found here. This list has changed substantially since it was last sent out.
