VUIT Scheduled Maintenance to Install Windows OS patches on AVST voicemail servers
On April 15, from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m., Vanderbilt IT will install Microsoft Windows 2008 system patches on AVST voicemail servers. This scheduled maintenance will ensure the continued security of the Windows Operating Systems on these servers. Upon patching, VUIT will restart the CallXpress server.
During the scheduled maintenance, patching of the server will cause the following:
1) Outside callers will receive a notification that their messages
may be delayed because of system maintenance.
2) Users will not be able to log into their voicemail.
3) Out-call notifications will be delayed for messages so marked.
Skype for Business (Lync) voicemail will not be affected by this maintenance.
