FYI – VU Gmail Login Page Changing on March 5

Dear VU Gmail User,

 

At 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, the VU Gmail login will transition to a new authentication platform. As the service transitions, there may be a brief outage to the login service. If you are already using your Gmail, you session should not be interrupted. Please use gmail.vanderbilt.edu to access VU Gmail. You will continue to log in with your VUnetID and password as before. Once logged in, the user interface will remain the same.

After the transition, the login screen will look like the example below, with the background image rotating over time. Bookmarks linked to the current login page will not work following the transition; the bookmarks will need to be changed to link to the new login page.
