VUIT maintenance on VU1File platform

On Sunday, August 4, from midnight to 9 a.m., Vanderbilt IT will perform an update to the VU1File network file sharing platform to improve security, dependability, and performance.

During this time, Windows clients with active sessions may experience a momentary disconnect and reconnect. Linux servers that connect to VU1file using NFS (Network File System) will not be affected.
