FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10
Arrival of Guests
5:45 p.m. Carpool leaves hotel for dinner transport – Dinner at Dr. Tesha Sengupta-Irving’s house (with faculty and current students)
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11
9:00 a.m. Meet in hotel lobby for transport to optional morning activities with current doc students, including:
Driving tour of Nashville
Walking tour of campus
Frist art museum
Chat with students at a coffee shop
Walk/run around Centennial park
11:30 a.m. Lunch and overview of Vanderbilt University – Wyatt Center Rotunda
1:00 p.m. Departmental overview with Melissa Gresalfi (Director of Graduate Studies)
2:00 p.m. “Life in Nashville” panel with current students
3:00 p.m. Meetings with advisors
4:00 p.m. Return to hotel
4:45 p.m. Shuttle leaves hotel for campus
5:00 p.m. Reception at Wyatt Center Lobby
5:30 p.m. Dinner at Wyatt Center Rotunda
7:00 p.m. Shuttle leaves campus from Wyatt Center, Guests return to hotel
7:45 p.m. Carpool leaves hotel for social mixer at Crying Wolf with current doc students
10:30 p.m. Optional post-mixer excursion to Broadway honky tonks
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 12
8:45 a.m. Shuttle leaves hotel for campus
9:15 a.m. Meet current doc students in Wyatt Center for transport to breakfast – Breakfast at Fido
11:15 a.m. Guests return to hotel on shuttle – Shuttle leaves from Wyatt Center (or alternative transportation from breakfast location to airport)
