Modifications to Epic Login

On Friday, August 22, 2014 at 5:00 PM CST, Vanderbilt University Information Technology (VUIT) in collaboration with the Epic support team will be converting the authentication method for logging in to Epic Hyperspace and Epic Text. Currently, users login to Epic using their RACF ID and Epic password. Once the change is completed, users will login using their VUnetID and ePassword. This change is being performed in order to consolidate the methods by which user’s login to systems and help reduce the number of accounts users are required to maintain.

This change is only for Epic systems and does not affect the use of RACF ID on other systems.
