Nikon PRIMO

Why Use This Microscope?
The Nikon PRIMO is a Nikon Ti-2 microscope with widefield fluorescence and an Alveole PRIMO attachment. The PRIMO is a micropatterning, hydrogel polymerization and microfabrication device that allows you to create custom made in vitro cellular microenvironments. It uses a digital micromirror device (DMD) technology that illuminates a pattern with UV light at 375nm.The Nikon Ti-2 is equipped with the D-LEDI fluorescent LED light source and Prime BSI Express Scientific CMOS (sCMOS) camera. The PRIMO also has a white LED light source and Nikon DS-Ri-2 color camera for bright field imaging of histology stained samples. The microscope offers a 22mm FOV image.
