Martin Grossmann
Bio
Martin Grossmann, theoretician and curator, holds a degree in Fine Arts, FAAP (1983), and a M.A. from the Escola de Comunicações e Artes, University of São Paulo, Brazil (ECA-USP) (1987). In 1993, he received his Ph.D. from the School of Architecture, University of Liverpool, Great Britain and delivered his associate professor thesis at ECA-USP in 2001. He is currently professor at the ECA-USP and director of the Centro Cultural São Paulo while also serving as coordinator of Forum Permanente. Grossmann is founding member of the Museum of the (In)consequent Collective and member of the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art (IKT). Since 1989 he has been developing research on contemporary art and on the imaginary and the virtual Museum.
