Teaching with Blogs – It’s Not About Sharing What You Had for Breakfast
Date & Time: Tuesday, October 16 4:10-5:30pm

Increasingly, Vanderbilt instructors are incorporating blogs into their course design. While blogs help students reflect on, comment about, and introduce new ideas to course material, they also require faculty to be strategic and intentional in their use.

During this conversation, two faculty members will show their course blogs and talk about how they use them to support course learning goals, the challenges course blogging presents, and the ways they deal with the challenges. This will also a unique opportunity for you to meet other instructors in the Vanderbilt blogging community and exchange ideas about best practices.

Panelists are:

Facilitator: Rhett McDaniel, CFT Educational Technologist
Date & Time: Tuesday, October 16 4:10-5:30pm
This workshop will be held at the Center for Teaching
