Call for Papers

The 16th Annual Southeastern Association of Educational Studies (SEAES) conference will be hosted and sponsored by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Education and the Graduate Student Association on January 12, 2013. The SEAES Conference provides a forum for graduate students, professors, alumni and current practitioners in the field of education to share knowledge and experience in a collegial conference environment.

The SEAES Conference was created as a regional forum for the support, promotion and dissemination of research in educational studies. In keeping with this tradition, all individuals engaged in the study and research of education, regardless of specialty area, are invited to submit a proposal. Authors may submit more than one proposal.

Guidelines

  • Audience: K-12 educators and researchers.
  • Topics: All topics will be considered, especially ones that acknowledge the connections between theory, research, policy and practice.
  • Formats accepted: Poster, Paper presentation (20 minutes), or Panel Presentation (Total time: 1 hour)
  • Documents required: an abstract (150-300 words), proposed title, and brief author self-introduction.
  • Submission Deadline: December 7th, 2012
