World On Wednesday presents: “Justice after National Trauma: The Case of Cambodia”
Wednesday, Mar. 30th, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Jung Min Shin, a Vanderbilt senior, will be looking at the impact of the Extraordinary Chambers of the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), a UN tribual created to prosecute war criminals from the Khmer Rouge, on bringing justice to a country with a weak national justice system. She will share her findings about public trust with the ECCC, as well as interviews with an ECCC witness, a participating lawyer, and Cambodian students.
Location: Student Life Center, LL 1 & 2 – Open to the Public
