Arts and Science Graduate Student Seminars: Getting the Most Out of the Mentor-Mentee Relationship
Featuring Jane Landers and Tiffiny Tung
Tuesday, March 13 | 11:00 a.m.–Noon | Buttrick 101
The relationship graduate students have to their mentors is one of the most important factors in shaping their future careers. It is often difficult, however, for graduate students to know what they can do to foster a strong relationship with their mentors as well as what they may expect from their mentors. Join us as the winners of 2016 and 2017 Awards for Excellence in Graduate Mentoring in the College of Arts & Science discuss their experiences and philosophies of graduate mentoring and answer you questions about how to get the most out of the mentor-mentee relationship.
This event is open to all Vanderbilt University graduate students. Refreshments will be served.
