Join our VIP leaders as they show you around our beautiful campus that we call home! This is a great way to have a look at the breadth of the Vanderbilt campus and maybe your future favorite place



Health & Wellness- All students Welcome

College life can be stressful! Healthy habits are key to keep you on track and mentally prepared for your busy schedule. Our expert panel will give you tips and tricks for a happy and healthy Vanderbilt experience.

Undergraduate Student Orientation
1 – 3pm Student Life Center Ballroom

Mandatory for all incoming undergraduate students. We will cover important immigration regulations, campus safety and US Culture. This compulsory session will inform you and the ‘do’s and ‘do not’s that deal with U.S laws as an International Student and therefore will make your stay here smoother and without problem.

Dinner for International Students Living on the Commons
5:15 – 6:30pm The Commons Dining Hall

Enjoy a great a meal with your VUceptors and get to know both your Student and Faculty VUceptors in a casual setting before your Visions meetings start. It is a great opportunity to build a closer and long lasting relationship with you mentors.

International Student Hangout- Undergraduates
6:30 – 7:30 pm The Commons South Patio


Meet other International students and spend more time with your Student VUceptor. There will be small fun games as group bonding activities as you get to know your international peers.


Dessert Reception For International Students Living on the Commons

7:30 – 8:30 pm Dean of the Ingram Commons Residence

With Dean Beasley, Faculty Heads of House, Admissions Counselors, Humphrey Fellows, ISSS Staff, and Vanderbilt International Peers (VIP). Enjoy scrumptious dessert while partaking in wonderful conversations getting to know your peers and the faculty and staff that brought you to Vanderbilt!
