Important Dates and Deadlines (in 2023)

Mar 15 — Due date for submission of minisymposium proposals Mar 31 — Due date for travel support requests Apr 8 — Notification of travel support awards Apr 22 — Last day of abstract submission. Your proposed talk will be included in the program only if it fits into the conference theme, you have registered, and we have received your payment and abstract by April 22. May 3 — Scientific program and schedule of talks posted here May 7 — Last day of online registration. After this date, you can still register at the registration desk, but the discount for registering early will no longer apply, and you will pay an extra $25 (students) or $40 (others). Moreover, you will be able to pay by cash or check only. May 14 (Sunday) — Registration desk will be open during 3-5pm in the Lobby of Wilson Hall (Vanderbilt University campus) May 15 (Monday) — First day of conference. Registration desk in Wilson Hall will be open at 6:30am. First session will start at 8am; Welcome Reception will be at 5:45-7:00pm May 16 (Tuesday) — Shanks Lecture by Professor Wolfgang Dahmen (3:40-5pm), followed by a reception (barbecue dinner) May 17 (Wednesday) — Conference Banquet at The Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, with a buffet dinner and music band (6:30-10:00pm). Tickets are required for the banquet.  They can be purchased when registering. May 18 (Thursday) — Meeting ends. Time of last conference session: 1-3pm.
