VUIT Scheduled Maintenance: Microsoft Exchange and Skype for Business (Lync) Environments

Vanderbilt IT will perform monthly Windows server security updates, as well as any prior monthly patches to the Core Infrastructure Unified Communication servers, beginning Friday, Sept. 18 at 10 p.m. and ending Saturday, Sept. 19 at 6 a.m.

All non-redundant services will be impacted by a server reboot after the patches are installed. Rolling outages are expected for Exchange and Skype for Business (Lync) servers during this time.
