Email System Interruptions
We are experiencing a widespread but sporadic set of email difficulties related to the split of the VU and VUMC systems. VUIT is working with clients to repair and refresh mailboxes and expects all affected clients to be restored today.
While the ongoing migration of the VU email system to the Microsoft Office 365 cloud environment is not part of the cause of our current challenges, this set of interruptions will result in VUIT making some adjustments to the migration schedules, which will be communicated to all affected clients over the next couple days.
If your department has particularly urgent project work currently being affected by these interruptions, please contact 3-9999 or your local support provider and VUIT will prioritize repair of affected specific email boxes as much as possible.
