Ciao! My name is Alyssa and I’m a first year majoring in Secondary Education and English with a minor in Italian. I’m interested in Italian culture as I hope to grow my knowledge surrounding my minor (and my heritage). But more so than that, I have had an interest in fashion since I was a little girl. I’ve always loved designing, especially clothes. It was no surprise that for Christmas in 6th grade, all I wanted was a sewing machine. Since then, I have tried to produce some of my own designs, focusing on trying to flip clothes I have thrifted. In addition to this, while in Italy this past summer, I stopped in Milan and was just enthralled by what surrounded me and became even more in love with the fashion Italy has to offer to the world.
