Graduate Students and Staff:

Alex Argiros, M.Ed. – Alex was a master’s student in the Mood, Emotion, and Development lab from 2021 to 2023 before starting a Ph.D. program in clinical psychology at McGill University with Dr. Anna Weinberg in the fall of 2023.

Anh Dao – Anh was an undergraduate honors student from 2019 to 2021 before becoming the manager of the Mood, Emotion, and Development lab from 2021 to 2023. Anh will begin a Ph.D. program in clinical psychological science at University of Southern California under Dr. Iony Ezawa’s mentorship in the fall of 2023. Anh and her duck, Mimi, plan to stay in the MED lab Slack channel forever.

Elizabeth Estes, MSW – Elizabeth was the lab manager of the MED Lab from 2020 to 2021. After her time in the MED Lab, Elizabeth completed a Master’s of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan, with a focus on medical social work with infants, young children, and their caregivers.

Haley Green, M.S. – Haley was the lab manager of the MED lab from 2018 to 2020. In the fall of 2020, she began a clinical psychology Ph.D. program with Dr. Elizabeth Hayden at the University of Western Ontario.

Resh Gupta, Ph.D. – Resh was a neuroscience graduate student in the MED Lab from 2020 to 2021. She started a T32 postdoctoral fellowship at University of California San Diego in October 2021.

Hee Jung Jeong – Hee was a member of the Mood, Emotion, and Development Lab and began the clinical psychological science program at Vanderbilt in the fall of 2019 under the mentorship of Dr. Antonia Kaczkurkin.

Irena Kesselring, M.Ed. – Irena was a master’s student in the Mood, Emotion, and Development lab from 2019 to 2021. After graduating with her M.Ed., she took a position as a clinical research coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania and was later accepted to a Ph.D. program at UC Boulder.

Maddie Politte-Corn, M.Ed. –  Maddie was an M.Ed. student in the MED Lab from 2020 to 2022 before starting her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at Penn State University with Dr. Kristin Buss.

Jennifer Ude, M.S. – Jennifer was a master’s student in the MED lab before beginning medical school.

Matthew Becker – Matthew began the Stanford PGSP Psy.D. Program in the fall of 2021.

Emma Boldwyn – Emma is an Education Statistics Research Assistant at American Institutes for Research.
Leo Brown – Leo began the MSW program at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall of 2021.
Spencer Deng – Spencer joined the Dauten Family Center for Bipolar Treatment Innovation as a research assistant after graduation.

Lindsey Gordon – Lindsey worked as a clinical translational research coordinator at Vanderbilt CIBS Center before beginning graduate school.
Nicole Herman – Nicole earned a position as a Sara S. Sparrow fellow at Yale School of Medicine after graduation. She was later accepted to a Clinical PhD program at Catholic University.
Sophia Kekes-Szabo – Sophia worked as a research assistant in the Heckers’ lab at the Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital before starting graduate school.
Elizabeth Key – Liz graduated with a B.S. in Psychology in 2021. She began the experimental psychology M.A. program at Middle Tennessee State University in the fall of 2022.

Rebecca Mueller – After graduating, Becca started a position as a research assistant in the ADAPT lab at Northwestern University.
Sydney Okland – Sydney began her social psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Texas at Austin in the fall of 2021.
Alexis Pramberger – After graduating, Alexis took a position in the Youth Villages – Lifeset program.

Michael West – After graduating, Michael worked as a research technician at the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine before beginning medical school.
Mae Winglass – After graduating, Mae took a position as a research assistant at the Columbia Center for Eating Disorders and working at U.S. Army Quartermaster Reserves.
Eileen Yu – After graduating, Eileen started the Duke Master of Biomedical Sciences program before applying to medical school.
Helen Zhang –
Helen began a position as a research assistant in the Clinical Affective Neuroscience (CAN) lab at the University of Georgia.
