NCPI researchers James Guthrie, Michael Podgursky, and Matthew Springer presented papers at the University of Arkansas Department of Education Reform Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. Professor Guthrie spoke about the need for modern data systems to answer pressing 21st Century educational policy questions. Professors Podgursky and Springer presented their examination of the economic case for performance-related pay for K-12 teachers.
