The U.S. Department of Education has established a comprehensive assistance center to offer a wide range of support for the recently announced Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) awardees. Professor Guthrie will serve as the Policy Director for the new center, working in collaboration with Westat’s Babette Guttman. Professor Guthrie will direct the creation of a technical assistance team that will facilitate the success of TIF awardees in the design, implementation, and evaluation of performance-based compensation systems.
