Georgia Caso is originally from North Yarmouth, Maine. She completed her B.S. in Biology at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2019 and joined the Cover Lab as a Research Assistant soon after. She joined the Vanderbilt IGP program in 2022 and made her way back to the Cover lab in the spring of 2023. Her research focuses on the VacA toxin’s structure, function, and host response. In her free time, she enjoys training for half marathons, cooking, and painting her nails.
