Jennie Shuman is in the Microbe-Host Interaction (MHI) graduate program. She is from Hendersonville, North Carolina. She completed a B.S. in Genetics and a B.S. in Microbiology at Clemson University, and is currently working on her PhD in Tim Cover’s lab. Her research interests include how Helicobacter pylori adapts to mixed infections and different environmental conditions. Outside of the lab, Jennie likes to read, eat, and explore Nashville with her husband and adorable dog.
