Joseph Matson wins Best Poster from a 1st Year Grad Student at VINSE NanoDay!
Oct. 25, 2017—Joseph earned top honors for a 1st year student with his poster on photothermal induced resonance (PTIR) studies of hyperbolic phonon polaritons within hexagonal boron nitride! He won best presentation by a first year student at Vanderbilt’s Institute for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (VINSE) NanoDay presentation!
Sept. 2017 – Prof. Caldwell begins teaching his first class at Vanderbilt
Aug. 24, 2017—Prof. Caldwell began his first semester at Vanderbilt teaching Thermodynamics (ME 2220) to Engineering students. He has a class of 17 and it looks like it will be a wonderful semester!
