Funded Grants Library

Our office maintains a library of over 175 funded grant applications written by Vanderbilt and Meharry investigators.  The majority are R01s, but we also have examples of all possible types of K (K01, K08, K23, etc., as well as K24 mentoring awards), R61s, R03s, R21s, NIH Loan Repayment Program applications, NIH diversity supplements, and even a U01.  As well, we have VA Merit grants and PCORI grants.

Access is restricted to Vanderbilt faculty, postdocs, and graduate students in grant-writing courses.  It is granted by request only; email Rebecca Helton ( to request access.  Depending on your faculty status, you may need your primary research mentor to send a quick email confirming you need access. Our PIs have been extremely generous to include their grants and we want to ensure they don’t get out in the wild.

We are always looking for new examples of funded grants! Contact Rebecca ( to add yours to the library.

If you have received access, click here to visit the Funded Grants Library.
