NCPI director Matthew G. Springer was quoted recently in a Hartford Courant article about performance incentives. The article, focused upon the details of the city of Hartford’s new performance pay plan for teachers, quotes Springer as saying performance pay may be one of several options for improving educational opportunities for students.
