John Vrooman is a Vanderbilt University emeritus professor and world-renowned pioneer in sports economics. He has published research on the economics of intercollegiate and professional sports, venue finance and franchise valuation. His research has been cited over a thousand times, and he has been quoted in almost every major news publication in North America and abroad. Vrooman is also a former D1 college athlete.
