John Vrooman is a distinguished Vanderbilt University professor and world-renowned pioneer in sports economics. He has published extensive research on the economics of intercollegiate and professional sports, venue finance and franchise valuation. His academic research has been cited over a thousand times, and he has been quoted in almost every major news publication in North America and abroad. Vrooman is also a former NCAA-D1 college football player.
