NCPI director Matthew G. Springer was quoted in a pay for performance article in Stateline.org. The article, “States venture in teacher performance pay” discusses both sides of the teacher performance pay movement. Mention is made of the Texas pay for performance program for which NCPI is conducting an evaluation. Professor Springer is referenced in regards to key implementation differences between the Texas programs and Florida’s STAR and MAP programs.
