NCPI director Matthew Springer was quoted in a cover story for Australian Teacher Magazine. The article focuses upon Denver’s ProComp plan, as policy makers in Australia consider potential performance pay programs. Professor Springer is quoted in regards to different pay incentives such as ProComp and those that award teachers based on additional certification, such as National Board Certification. Professor Springer does caution that it is still too early to know the true impact of either program.
